I am a writer living in Brooklyn, New York.
My work has been featured in MUBI Notebook, BOMB Magazine, Screen Slate, the Brooklyn Rail, Artforum.com, among other publications, where I write about art and film.
My book of essays, Very Like a Whale, was published by des pair books in 2019.
I hold an MFA in Art Criticism & Writing from the School of Visual Arts in New York, where I primarily researched memory, archives, and the work of Chris Marker.
I also work as Senior Registrar for the Calder Foundation.
I was born in San Juan Capistrano, California where, like the swallows, I return every year.
